Be it Known, That on this 17th day of March, in the year 1870, the above named plaintiffs, by their Attorneys, filed in the office of the Clerk of Court of Common Pleas, a complaint against said defendent, in the above entitled cause, together with an affidavit of a competent person, that said defendent is not a resident of the State of Indiana.

Said defendent is therefore, hereby notified of the filing and pendency of said complaint against said him and that unless he appears and answer or demur thereto at the calling of said cause on the second day of the next Term of said Court to be begun and held at the Court House in Williamsport, Indiana, on the 2nd Monday in May next, said complaint and the matters and things therein contained and alleged, will be heard and determined in his absense.

Witness, my hand and the seal of said Court at Williamsport, this 17th day of March 1870.
