Title: A Meeting
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:
Text:

It is not an uncommon thing to see candidates congregating on the corners of the streets, filling up the doors of our public halls and gathering in our alleys to discuss their chances what they will do; and of course, the barren banks of "Salt River" are not yet in sight, but to see a meeting of four candidates and not one for the same office, is one of the wonders of political times. Such a meeting did come off at our office last Monday. One Sheriff, Clerk, Treasurer, and one Congressman! All seemed in high hopes and fair prospects.
