Last Monday morning before Justice G.H. Nodurft, Mr. Walter Coon, Prosecuting Attorney, brought an indictment against Phillip Keohler for an assault and battery, committed on Edward Harper on the 20th. Mr. William P. Rhodes appeared for the defendent. The Justice held Keohler to bail inthe sum of ten dollars and costs, in all amounting to some $18,75. Attorney for the defendent took an appeal to the next Common Pleas Court.
