Title: From the West
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

Mr. David Moffitt, after a visit of several months to the west on a hunting trip, returned a few days before the sitting of the Commissioner's Court. He looks well and hearty, and if the mosquitos had not been quite so numerous would have enjoyed the trip hugely. He says, "A man goes west from the Wabash country, looking for a better farming country, is badly mistaken." He has been through parts of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Arkansas; and trapped and hunted from the head waters of White River to its mouth.
