Title: The Street
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

What does the Council think in regard to our streets? Will not something be done to make them more as they should be? Of course we do not mean at once, but after due deliberation and candid reflection, will they not see that it is to the interest of the trade of the place and the citizens to do something at the proper time which will be permanent and lasting. Every thaw and every hard rain, makes some of the most business parts of the streets almost impassable. In the construction of the new plank walks the Council did a good thing, and they should not stop now but push on and show the people that their money went for a purpose, and then tax paying would be attended with less complaining and trouble.
