Zachariah Cicott's grave is located in west section of the Independence Cemetery. It is on the hill and currently has a flagpole beside it.

A note from the Warren County Indiana Cemetery Inscriptions, Volume I by Jenkins-Knowles states: "The famed trapped and trader Zachariah Cicott is buried here. His original sandstone marker which had deteriorated has been replaced with a large boulder from the Wabash River. A Bronze plaque descirbes his services to early Warren County. His wife's marker is next to Zachariah's."
