Title: The Eclipse
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

We suppose most persons in this community are aware that there was an eclipse of the sun on last Saturday afternoon. If any don't know it, it is our business to tell them. Well, it was a grand phenomenon. To observe the almost total darkness which took place between five and six o'clock- to medidate upon the strange, hazy, variable hues of darkness that overspread the land for a time, was grand and awe inspiring. It will be years- may be centuries- before the sun will attract so universal attention as on last Saturday evening.
