Marshfield, Ind., August 24.

I understand that Prof. Wilkins, M.E.B. Ph., has made application for at the West Lebanon Seminary School, and I think that he is worthy of the hearty support of the people of that place, for the following reasons:

1st. His Literary attainments
2d. Experience as a teacher.
3d. Unquestionable morals.

As regards his literary attainments he had made it a long and successful study and has a taste which will carry him through- I think- without failure. Fully competent to advance any pupil through the whole course of Education.

His experience as a teacher has on all occasions- so I understand from reliable sources- been perfectly successful, and given full satisfaction to all those connected with the different schools. His system of teaching is not to be equaled without lengthy practice. He has lived in this vicinity for some considerable length of time as a teacher, and established his character as a moral and religious man. He has finished his Collegiate Course at the "Miami University," Oxford Ohio, and in connection with his practical knowledge, I am confident that the citizens of West Lebanon would do well by securing his services.
