On last Tuesday, one Mr. Miller and wife, of this county, attempted to ford Pine Creek at what is known as the Haines' ford, when, at about midway across the stream their wagon was carried down by the current, and Mrs. Miller was drowned. The husband and horses excaped. The body of Mrs. M., was found on yesterday morning about a quarter of a mile below the ford.
