Title: Bold Robbery
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

On last Monday night the house of T. D. Chenoweth was entered by a thief, and 400 dollars taken from the bureau drawer. Mr. C., had received the money on Monday afternoon through the express office. No clue to the guilty person has been obtained. We are not disposed to counsel resistance to the laws of the country, but so long as thieves and murderers are so leniently deal with as at present, crime will stalk triumphantly through our land. If a few of these midnight prowlers were caught and hung up without judge or jury, it might have a tendency to stop the wholesale robbery that is going on all through our country.
