Title: Wonderful

There are very few persons comparitively speaking, who have any just conception of the power of figures. A person whose tongue it pretty glib, can count 200 per minute. Now suppose such a person count at that rate, without eating or sleeping, how long do you suppose it would take him to count to a billion? At first thought some would answer two or three days, but would be astonished if told it could not be done in a year. But the fact is, that to count to one billion, at the rate of 200 per minute, day and night, without stopping for a single moment, would take just 9, 512 years, 34 days, 5 hours, and twenty minutes! Is it not perfectly amazing!
