Title: The Weather
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

Thus far this fall the weather has been delightful. We think there has been rain enough to enable farmers to sow their wheat in good order, whilst it has not in the least interfered with out-door labor. Corn has ripened beyond expectation, and much larger crops are raised than was anticipated earlier in the season. Builders have progressed rapidly with their work, and all classes of laborers are at work for good wages. Warren block is "looming up," and if this state of the weather continues many weeks longer, it will have "loomed up" the loomiest kind.
