Funeral for Storm Victims

West Lebanon, Ind., April 19, -
Funeral services for several victims of the tornado which swept over this district Monday evening are to be held Thursday and Friday of this week. Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys High will be held at the Christian Church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in the West Lebanon cemetery. Rites for Grover Johnson, another victim of the cyclone at Hedrick, will be held at the Christian church here Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the West Lebanon cemetery. Rev. Messnard will have charge of the service. The funeral of Golada Smith will be held at the Methodist church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in the West Lebanon cemetery.

Double services for William Grady and daughter will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Methodist church. Interment will be in the West Lebanon cemtery. Services for the three children of Mr. and Mrs. Gritton will be held from the home of Arnet Byers Thursday morning. Interment will be in the West Lebanon cemetery.

Other News
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Davis of Marshfield was here Wednesday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Susan Williams.

Mrs. S. C. Adams, Mrs. Mel Crockhite and Mrs. Joseph Witten were visiting Mrs. S. C. Grady at Hedrick Tuesday.

Sunday was the scene of a big time at the Pleasant View Christian church when an all-day program and basket dinner was enjoyed.

Rev. Messnard delivered a fine sermon. In the afternoon a special degation from Pence came down. The minister from that place preached the service in the afternoon at 3 o'clock, and the local minister had charge of the service in the evening. The house was packed at each meeting. It was only twenty-four hours from that time that the terrific tornado struck this church and completelhy destroyed it. Miss Gladys High, the pianist, was killed.

Elwood Williams and son of St. Joseph arrived here Wednesday morning, called by the death of his mother, Mrs. Susan Williams.
