Title: Miss DeMott
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

The above named young lady, recently injured at our Railroad Station, by the cars, we are happy to announce is improving somewhat and the reasonable supposition at present is that she will finally recover, but will be a cripple during life. It is to be hoped that this distressing accident which will render life a burden to one of our valued members of society will stimulate the Railroad company to do that which they ought to have done years ago--erect a station house for the accommodation of the traveling public. Had there been a building of the kind at our station located at a proper distance from the freight depot, and on that side of the road occupied by the main track, Miss DeMott would not have been injured. Let the community demand a station house.
