With to-day's issue closes volume 14 of the Warren Republican. How well we have sustained our reputation as journalists during the year just now closed is for a discriminating public to judge. One thing, however, is truly gratifying to us. We have met with encouragement in the steady increadse of our subscription list. Our patrons have stook by us amid the exciting contests of the late campaign; and we have endeavored to be a true and faithful exponent of the principles of the Republican party. And now that the contest is over, and the highest anticipations of the party fully realized; and we are about to begin a new volume, may we not ask still further aid in the way of new subscribers? Can not many of our old subscribers procure at least one new one, and this by a light effort on their part, assist us materially, by which we will be enabled to publish a still better paper.
