BY the acts of June 30th, 1864, as amended by the 1st section of the act of March 2d, 1867, it is made the duty of all persons of lawful age, annually on or before the 1st of March in each year to make return of their income, profits and gains to the Assistant Assessor of the division in which they reside.-Any person failing to make such return by the day specified will be assessed by the Ast. Assessor, and fifty per cent added to said assessment. I will be at my office in Williamsport, on and after the 4th day of February, 1869, till the 1st day of March, 1869, to receive said income returns for the year 1868, of all persons residing in Warren county. Any person having gold watches and carriages will return the same for assessment. Blanks can be had at my office, in Williamsport, Ind.
