BY virtue of an act of the Congress of the United States, entitled an "Act to provide Internal Revenue to support the government and pay interest on the public debt approved July 1, 1862, and the several acts amendatory thereof and in addition thereto, Mary E. Pitman and others late of the county of Warren and State of Indiana, but whose present residence is unknown was assessed in the sum of seven dollars and sixty-eight cents as a succession tax or duty and the said tax and duty and the list containing the same having been committed to the undersigned Collector and the said Mary E. Pitman and others having neglected and refused to pay said tax or duty and having no goods, chattels or effects in my dislrict to pay the same I have seized and levied upon the following real estate, to-wit:

Part of the north east quarter of the north west quarter of section twenty-one, in township twenty-two north of range 8 west, contains thirty acres. Also the south end of the south east quarter of the south west quarter in section sixteen township twenty-two, north of range 8 west, containing [15] fifteen acres and ninety-two hundredths more or less.

Which I shall expose for sale at public auction as the law directs at the residence of Andrew Fink, in Liberty township, Warren county, Indiana, on the 13th day of February 1869, at one o'clock, p.m.
