THIS is to give notice that on the 29th day of December, A. D., 1868, a warrant in Bankruptcy was issued against the estate of John Carpenter, of Rainsville, in the county of Warren and State of Indiana, who has been adjudged a Bankrupt, on his own petition:- That the payment of any debts and delivery of any property belonging to such Bankrup to him or for his use, and the transfer of any property by him is forbidden by law; that meeting of the creditors of the said Bankrupt to prove their debts and choose one or more Assignees of his estate, will be held at Court of Bankruptchy, to be holden at the office of John W. Ray, 24 1/2 East Washington st., Indianapolis, on the 20th day of January, A. D., 1869, at 9 o'clock, p.m.
