In the Common Pleas Court of Warren county Indiana. February Term, A. D., 1869.

BE it Know, That on this 27th day of October, in the year 1868, the above named plaintiffs by their attorneys, filed in the office of the clerk of Common Pleas Court a complaint against said defendant in the above emtitled cause, and afterwards on the 7th day of December, 1868, they filed an affidavit of a competent person, that said defendant James Lynch is not a resident of the State of Indiana.

Said defendant is therefore, hereby notified of the filing and pendency of said complaint against him and that unless he appear and answer or demur thereto, at the calling of said cause on the second day of the next term of said court, be begun an held at the court house in Williamsport, Indiana, on the 1st Monday in February next, said complaint and the matters and things therein contained and alledged, will be heard and determined in his absence.

Witness, my hand and the seal of said L. S. court at Williamsport, this 7th day of December, 1868.
