Title: The Murder of Mr. and Mrs. Young
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

Most if not all our readers have kept themselves posted in the progress of the trial of Mrs. Clem for the murder of Mr. and Mrs. Young, near Indianapolis. Since the disagreement and discharge of the jury, it is reported that additional evidence has revealed itself against Mrs. Clem. It is the general impression that she is guilty, but having plenty of money, and consequently fawning friends she has escaped conviction thus far. She will have another trial upon change of venue, when, it is confidently believed, that the State will be in possession of such additional evidence as will most assuredly convict her. Her money, however, will do much towards twarting the ends of justice, if she be guilty. But justice will not sleep always.
