Attachment Type:

Last Sunday was a home coming for the children of Mr. and Mrs. John McKinzie who reside near Independence. A sumptious dinner was served to which all present did justice. Facts are, there was more dinner than could be eaten, and the cildren were loth to go to their homes, knowing that the larder still contained so many good things to eat that had been prepared by mother. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. John McKinzie, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. McKinzie and sons, Lawrence and Lloyd of Williamsport, Mr. and Mrs. William McKinzie and children June and Allen, from near Winthrop, Mr. and Mrs. Charles McAdams and children Everet and Glenn, of near Independence, Mr. and Mrs. Alva McKinzie and children Floyd and Vera, of Independence, Mr. and Mrs. James Stacker of Clymers, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stacker of Independence, and Edw. F. Banes, wife and son, Raymond, of Attica.

There were present in all 26 persons, 7 children and 8 grand children. Late in the evening the guests and children began to depart for home, each wishing father and mother McKinzie many more as pleasant family re-unions as this.
