Title: Thieves Make a Haul
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

Thieves entered the home of Samuel Hale, who lives on the Range line road, four miles southwest of here, on last Friday afternoon and secured about $9.00 in money and some clothing belonging to the girls. Mr. Hale was in the field at work and and Mrs. Hale was picking berries near by at the time but did not see the theives.
Nelson Oleson's house, which is on the road south of Mr. Hale, was entered the same day. Money and clothing were secured there. These parties are supposed to be junk buyers and are said to live at Williamsport. A wagon drawn by a gray horse was seen in the neighborhood this afternoon and suspicion points to these parties as the ones who did the stealing.
