Notice is hereby given, that pursuant to an order of the Board of Commissioners of the county of Warren. of Warren county, of the state of Indiana, heretofore made, the said Board of Commissioners will, until twelve o'clock noon, on the 31st day of August, 1907, receive sealedbids for the contract for the construction of the county jail, sheriff's residence and heating plant, which bids will be received at the office of the Auditor of said county in the town of Williamsport, in the county of Warren and State of Indiana, and each bid shall be accompanied with an affidavit in all things to conform to the provisions of section eight of chapter 271 of the acts of Sixty-fifth General Assembly of the state of Indiana. And said bids shall also be accompanied with a bond in a sum not less than the amount of the bid, payable to the state of Indiana, and signed by at least two freehold sureties, residents of the said county, or by a properly authorized and qualified bonding and surety company, which bond shall guarantee the faithful performance and execution of the work as bid for in case the contract is awarded to suck bidder, and that the contractor shally promptly pay all debts incurred by him in the prosecution of such work, including labor, materials furnished, and for boarding laborers thereon.

Said bids shall provide for the construction of said work according to the plans, specifications, details, and drawings, now on file in the office of the Auditor of said county and heretofore duty adopted by said Board of Commissioners.

The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

The contract on said day will be awarded and let to the lowest and best bidder, provided a satisfactory bid therefor be received. The one to whom such contract is let shall at once enter into a written contract for the performance of such work.

A copy of the required contract may be seen at the office of the County Auditor.

A personal check for twenty-five dollars must be deposited with the County Auditor to insure the safe return of plans and specification.
