Notice is hereby given, the the undersigned will offer at public sale, at her residence, two and one-half miles west of Independence on the Williamsport and Independence free gravel road on

Saturday,, February 23, 1901, the following described personal property, to-wit:

7 head of horses- 1 brown mare,9 years old; 1 bay horse, 7 years old; 1 bay mare, 11 years old; 1 brown horse, 7 years old; 1 black colt, 2 years old; 2 bay colts, 1 year old this coming April.

9 cows-two of them Jerseys and all fresh in March and April; 2 2-year old heifers; 1 1-year old heifer; 5 head of hogs; 1 2-horse wagon; 1 single top buggy; 1 set double buggy harness; 2 sets single buggy harness; 1 single shovel plow; 1 walking breaking plow; 1 cider press; 1 gravel bed; 1 stack of good hay; todder in the shock; 2 20-gallon iron kettles; 1 20-gallon copper kettle; 1 Worcester organ, best organ made; and many other articles too numerous to mention.

Term of Sale:

Nine (9) months time will be given on all sums of $5.00 and over, purchasers to give note with approved security, with 8 per cent, interest from date, if not paid at maturity. A discount of 6 percent will be allowed for the cash. All sums under $5.00 cash on day of sale. No goods to be removed until terms of sale are complied with. Sale begins at 9 o'clock a.m.
