Title: The Corner Stone Opened

The copper box in the corner stone was taken out last Tuesday by the workmen on the Court-house, and everything was found to be in fairly good condition. These were articles in the box which were placed there in 1871 and also in 1886 when the building was erected on its present site. Copies of the Republican and West Lebanon Advance in a damp condition. A new box will be made and in addition to the present articles new ones will be deposited. The corner stone will be in the northwest corner of the extension on the north side.
