Title: A Great Success
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

The Ladies' Aid Society of the the Methodist church in their bazaar, dinner and supper last Saturday had most excellent success. In the bazaar nearly everything was disposed of and at dinner and supper the long tables were filled with hungry people. It was a day of hard labor for the labdies, but they did not care for that. The object to be attained was greater than their own discomfort and weariness. At the counting up of receipts it was found that they gross amount was $168.35 and the expenses were $8.35, making the net sum of $160.00. Not a dollar of this was applied to the paying of the church's indebtedness, but went into the treasury of the Society to be applied later on to the church budget for 1907-8.
