Title: Wandered from Home
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

On last Monday a weak-minded young man named Cap Dice wandered from his home at Fountain and on Tuesday appeared in the Cornelius Seree neighborhood, east of this city, where he frightened people by his queer actions. R. H. Kerr brought him to this city and Marshal Beamer located his home and sent him there on the Covington train. Soon after his disappearance the family gave alarm and a couple hundred neighbors began search for him. They believed he had gotten into the river and were preparing to search there when news of his discovery reached them.

Although the young man had tramped for a day and a night, through the snow and with a driving rain coming down part of the time, no apparent ill effects followed. He was tired and sleepy and found the much needed rest after he reached this city.
