File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

The adjusters for the insurance companies which lost in the court hosue fire her ehave been here and made an effort to pay the full amount of the $25,000 less 5 per cent. This would mean a loss of $1,250 to the county without any good reason. The Commissioners have refused to accept the proposition. The companies have sixty days in which to settle the claim.

The County Commissioners and Auitor Winks yesterday went to Urbana, Ills., to view a court house and take notes. The building is one highly spoken of and was designed by one of the architects who will probably assist in the repairs of the one here.
