Maude E. Hunt, 99, of 20 Ross Ave., Williamsport, passed away at Meadow Heights Nursing Home in Williamsport Monday at 1 p.m. She had been a patient there since 1976.

She was born in Illinois, Jan. 15, 1883. She was the laughter of Levi and Minnie Zumwalt. She formerly lived in Chicago and had been a resident of Williamsport for several years.

Mrs. Hunt was first married to William McKinzie, who preceded her in death. She then married Logan Hunt who also preceded her in death. She was a housewife, and a member of the First United Methodist Chrch in Judyville.

Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Denny of Williamsport; one grandchild, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Maus Funeral Home in Attica from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday). Services will be held in the Muas Chapel Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Forrest Stickler officiating. Internment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery near Ambia.

Hunt rites

Funeral servies for Maude E. Hunt, 99, formerly of 20 Ross Ave., Williamsport who died Monday, Dec. 21, were held at the Maus Funeral Home in Attica on Thursday, Dec. 24, with the Rev. Forrest Stickler officiating.

Those who served as pallbearers were: Otis Rhode, Lowell Galloway, Mike Buckley and Dale Maus. Burial followed in Locust Grove Cemetery near Ambia.
