Mrs. Lottie Moor and son, Bert, were in Attica Monday because of the serious illness of her son-in-law, Geo. Landin, who has been taken to a Lafayette hospital, and is under the administration of oxygen.

Mrs. Ellen McKinzie was visiting relatives in Harvey, Ill. She has received word that her husband, Sgt. Stewart McKinzie, has left for overseas.

Mrs. Janie Thompson received a letter from her son, Sergt. Edwar Cooper, that he has arrived in England.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cole and children attended the funeral of his father, Abraham Cole at the Hamilton Funeral Home Friday afternoon. Burial was in the Jordan Cemetery near Pence.

Mrs. Arnet Bartlett is in Attica, called by the death of her father, Mr. Hanthorn.
