Ensign and Mrs. Richard Booker left Wednesday for Annapolis, Md., after visiting their parents, Mrs. and Mrs. J.W. Franklin and Mrs. Booker in Otterbein, and other elatives and friends for the past two weeks.

Mrs. Richard McGriff and Mrs. Glenn Scarlett moved to Lafayette Tuesday.

The farm home of Cornelia Lemming, and was occupied by K.W. Thompson and family, burned Monday morning. Everything on the second floor was destroyed but the fine help of neighbors and friends saved everything down stairs. It was discovered about 4 a.m.

Pvt. Grant Davis, who is stationed at a camp in Tennessee, spent New Year’s with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Nixon of Covington were also guests at the Davis home.
