We Seniors began our freshman year in the fall of 1952 with 31 class members. Our officers were Dean Gephart, President; Jim Hooker, vice President; Janie Snell, Secretary-Treasurer. We were initiated by the Seniors. Our biology class which was composed of Freshmen went ot Chicago to the Shedd Aquarium Museum of Science and Industry, and Museum of Natural History. We started our Sophomore year with 30 members having lost Jerry Mekee and Joyce Watkins and acquired Mary Toman from Buck Creek High School. Our class officers that year were Dean Gephart, President; David Smith, Vice President; Mary Toman, Secretary; Janie Snell, Treasurer. This was the first year that we had a Student Council and our representatives were Dean Gephart, Dave Smith, Janie Snell, and Mary toman. Our most important activity that year was a Valentine Dance. at the end of our Sophomore year we had 28 members, having lost Judy Handy and Cora Haste. As Juniors we started the year with 26 members, having lost Phyllis Black, Mary Toman, and Janie Snell but gaining Bob Miller. Our class officers that year were Dave Smith, President; Jim Hooker, vice President; Mary Blind, Secretary; Margene Morgan, Treasurer. our Student Council representatives were Lee Morgan, Shannon Jones, Mary Blind, and Margene Morgan. The high points of the year were the Junior Play and the Junior-Senior Prom. We ended the year with 22 members, having lost Donna and Beverly Reynolds, Ardith Story, and Kay Godbey. This, our last year, we are a class of 21, having lost Dean Gephart. Our officers this year are Jim Hooker, President; Lee Morgan, Vice President; Mary Blind, Secretary; Ava Taylor, Treasurer. Our Senior Play, our yearbook, and our trip have been the high points of this year.
