Nora A. Steele--February 15, 1893 Nora was born in Oxford, but came to us from Kentland High School and quietly took her place in the class of '12 when we were Sophomores. Steadily and quietly she has been working ever since. She is one of the best musicians in the schooland with never-failing patience plays all the accompaniments to the High School music. She is the editor of the Calendar Department. "With music as sweet as the music which seems Breathed soflty and sweet in the ear of our dreams." Luther G. Hail--August 9, 1895 Although he has always attended school in and near Pine Village, Luther was born in Somerset, Kentucky. He has some of the characteristics of a Southerner--the quiet, thoughtful attitude, and the low, drawling voice. By preservance he has become one fo the prominent members of the class of '12. He is always quiet and has never been heard to utter a complaint or to make any disturbance. "He has lived and learned." Hazel Rigdon--February 6, 1894 Hazel was born near Rantoul, Illinois. She was one of the bashful little maidens that entered the Freshman class of Pine Village High School in 1908. But gaily has she traversed a High School student's way, participating in all the joys and sorrows of the class. She never worries, is always happy, and lives to make others happy. "She is pretty to talk with, She is pretty to walk with, And pleasant to think on."
