C. Ruth Jones--February 1, 1895 Our Ruth with the golden hair; our Ruth with the angel face; our Ruth with the frank, outspoken ways--O, there never was another like her. She was born and raised in Adams township near Pine Village. For four years she has been working steadily and daily expressing her opinions on every subject which coems to her knowledge. We have found her a very delightful hostess. Loveable, companionable and cheerful, she has won the hearts of many. She is class historian. "Do you not know I ama woman? when I think I must speak." W. Milton Harmon--December 22, 1893 Milton was born in Adams township, and after attending the common school until he graduated, entered the Pine Village High School in 1908. From the fact that he has three times been chosen president of the class shows in what esteem he has been universally held. With wise and ready suggestions he has helped to guide the class successfully through all troubled business affairs. On account of his polished manners, immaculate appearance and practical ideas he is very popular among his classmates. He is president of the athletic association and subscription agent for the Annual. "He lay ten nights awake Carving the fashion of a single doublet." Hilda M. Long--December 17, 1893 Hilda was born in North Judson, Indiana. She has attended school at Genva, Harlin, New Haven, Pleasant Lake, and came to Pine Village in 1910 from Bloomington, Indiana, where she had spent her Sophomore year. In the two years she has been with us she has proven herself a fine student, quick, industrious, sometimes sad to say full of mischief. In her mischievous moments she is fond of playing pranks on her classmates. When busy she can generally be found reading a book or writing a story. This year she is class poet and literary editor of the Annual. "A venturous maiden. With spirit bold and free."
