Title: Congressional Convention
File Attachment:
Attachment Type:

The calling of the Republican Congressional Convention is receiving considerable attention. As it is desirable that it be held at an early day, we would suggest to the District Central Committee that Thursday, May 5th, is a very suitable time, and that we are decidedly in favor of its being held in Attica. We hope the time and place will be agreed upon at an early day. Del. Jour----We are decidedly in favor of the above suggestion. Let it be held as early as possible, and we do not think the 5th of May too soon. There are many objections to defering it till after corn-planting, and there are many reasons in favor of holding it early, and Attica is a good point.
