Wednesday morning the 13 inst., a man by the name of Snyder, a hand on the contruction train from Peru, in attempting to get on the train while it was in motion lost his hold and was thrown under the car which striking him killed him instantly. He was struck on the right jaw which was entirely cut through; the skull was fractured, and injuries extended generally over the whole body. The neck, no doubt, was broken the instant he was struck. The right side and the limbes were badly bruised.
