Whereas, It has pleased Almighty God, to remove from our midst and from the bosom of his family, Brother Calvin J. Parker, and, WHEREAS, we trust he has only been called from labor to refreshment in that Eternal Lodge above, where the Supreme architect of the universe presides; therefore, Resolved, That in the death of Brother Parker, the Lodge has suffered a loss of an earnest, active member, his family a true husband and father, and the community and honored citizen. Resolved, That while we bow in submission to the Divine will, which has removed our Brother from us, we will ever cherish his memory with affection.
