Last Summer a company of enterprising citizens went to work and built a beautiful brick block, which added greatly to the general appearance of the town, and now because this has been done, is it just the thing to sit down and be perfectly contented with everything else when we are badly needing a Town Hall? Now you men who are interested, and have not lent your aid go to work at once. A Town Hall has been the need for years, and one cannot be built sooner. One can be built for $3,000, and so constructed as to enable us to have a good, A No. 1, firstclass Post Office, and a good store room.-A few men going into this enterprise can do it and not feel the fund required, and te investment prove a paying one. As it is now, if there is to be a festival, a concert, or a lecture, there is no place to go to but one of the churches, and in this way churches are constantly needing overhauling, cleaning, scrubing, &c. New carpets are to be got. The walls are marked and disfigured. The woodwork scared, the seats cut and tobacco stained, a new coat of paint is badly needed, and finally the churches lose their dignity and influence; and to crown all, i is thought no more harm to go to a ball room than to a church. Think this matter over, and enter into the work with a will. We want a Town Hall?
