This august body met last Saturday evening at the office of Claypool & Billings. Among the many things done, a license of $25.00 is now to be required of all persons selling intoxicating liquors within the corporate limits of the town. The building of a new bridge in the north west part of town over the ravine between the new part of town and Philip Nodurft's; the building at once of a calaboose for the entertainment of strangers; the new levy of taxes for this year and many other things were discussed.- Board adjourned to meet Saturday night June 4th, 1870.
