Anna Eber Koehler was born Feb. 16, 1809 at Haaratt, Bavaria, Germany and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Held in Williamsport, July 29th, 1892, aged 83 years, 5 months and 13 days. She was the mother of three children, two sons who have gone before and one daughter who remains. Her husband died more then four years ago. Her health has been failing for the last seven years and she ahs been a helpless invalid for over three years during which time she was a patient sufferer. She lived for the time to come when her Heavenly Father would call her home. She trusted in her Savior and often repeated, "the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin," and "Lord Jesus, for thee I lived, for thee I die; I am thine in life and death." Her last moments were peaceful and she fell asleep within the arms of Jesus. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Wilmer at the residence of Mr. Held at 3 p.m. on Sunday and the remains were interred in the Hillside Cemetery. Mr. Joseph Hutts departed this life on Sunday morning, July the 31st, 1892 at his home five and one half miles south of West Lebanon, of brain fever. He leaves a wife and daughter to mourn his loss. May God in heaven comfort them in their sorrow.
