The little daughter of John Whistler of Independence, who has been ill from brain fever for some days, died at the home of her parents last week. The Review extends sympathies to the bereaved. Last Saturday night Alonzo Roley of Attica died in agony of hydrophobia from a bite received from a pup that went mad last December. He was bitten while attempting to fasten the dog up and when bitten was told by a physician that pups never went mad. Upon last Thursday night Roley was taken ill and went soon into terrible paroxysms which opiates failed to relieve and took three ment to hold the frenzied man who did his best to bite. Others were bitten by the pup and may suffer the same results. The funeral service was held Monday.
