Mrs. Isaac Morris died at her home in Independence last Sunday at the age of 63 years. The funeral, conucted by Rev. Covey, took place Tuesday, interment taking place in the Independence Cemetery. Mrs. Catherine Purple died at the residence of her son in Winthrop recently of lung fever at the age of 72 years interment took place in the James Cemetery. Nellie Weidenhammer(nee Bowlus) the youngest daughter of Isaiah and Martha A. Bowlus was born November 23rd, 1869 and died March 27th, 1893. She was married of Lesher Weidenhamemr May 17, 1891. "In the midst of life we are in death." So sudden and unexpected was the call that we can scarcely realize that she has passed away. With eye of sense we wonder why we are so sadly bereft, but with the eye of Faith we can look upward and find comfort in the blessed promises of the Bilbe. To the bereaved husband, sister, brothers, and tender little babe, our hearts go out in sympathy. No words that we could utter, no tears that we could shed would heal their wounded hearts, but they have blessed assurance that "all things work together for good and to those that love God and obey His holy will." "God gave - He took - He will restore - He doeth all things well."
