The funeral services of Miss Lyda A. Dennis of near Foster, Ind., wee held at Benson Chapel May 27th. Lyda, aged 19 years, 11 months and 4 days, was surrounded by a wide circle of friends and was loved and respected by all who knew her, being the third child of Clark Dennis, and leaves a father, mother, four brothers and three sisters to mourn her loss. She has been for somtime troubled with a nervous derangement, which was the cause of her death. Interment took place in Mound Cemetery, Rev. Ripeataw officiating. Samantha J. Sims, wife of Ereland Biggs, died at her home, three miles south of West Lebanon, the 9th inst, after brief illness. Mrs. Biggs was born in Ohio, about 42 years ago. Her remains were laid to rest in the West Lebanon Cemetery, Sabbath, the funeral services being conducted by the Rev. C. B. Mock. She leaves a husband, three children and many friends to mourn, by yet "not as those having no hope."
