The death of W.F.Vogt, publisher of the Peoples' Papaer at Covington, was announced in mot of our exchanges last week. As a member of the newspaper fraternity we greatly feel his loss and join in sympathy with his bereaved relatives. Mrs.Marie Shank, wife of Ora C. Shank, died at the family residence, a half mile east of Marshfield, Sept.6th, 1893, after an illness of only a few hours. Mrs. SHank was born Feb. 23rd, 1874, and was united in marriage to Mr.Ora C.Shank, July 4, 1893, living a happy wedded life up to the date of her death. She united with the Christian Church in 1882, and remained a faithful Christian until her death. Her loss will not only be felt be her husband and family, but by all who knew her. She leaves a father, mother, two brothers and two sisters, and a kind and loving husband, to mourn the loss of an affectionate daughter, sister and wife. The sorrowing young husband has the sympathy of the entire community in his bereavement. She made many friends wherever she went, never complaining but always cheerful and happy. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Mavity of West Lebanon and interment at the Shankland Cemetrery followed by a large concourse of friends and relatives.
