W.T. Fleming, brother of Treasurer Fleming, died at his home in West Lebanon at 11 a.m., Saturday. The funeral services conducted by the Rev. Wilmer were held from the residence Monday at 10 a.m., after which the burial rights were performed by the Masonic Order, interment being made in the West Lebanon Cemetery. Valora Pearl James, died Dec. 26th, 1893, aged 15 years, 4 months and 5 days. She was kind and obedient at school and was a favorite of all who knew her. Words cannot express how sad our feelings were as we looked for the last time at the once smiling features- now cold and silent in death; what poignant grief for the father, mother and only sister; what an imparable loss she was and such grief. God alone can comfort. We, her school and classmates, miss her at her desk and in the class, her place is vacant at the home fireside, at the home of her friends, but the hearts of her relatives, teachers, schoolmates and friends are filled with a remembrance that shall endure forever. The funeral services of Ting Fleming were held today. There was a large concourse of friends and neighbors. Rev. Wm Wilmer and C. Jakes officiating; the Masons turned out to the number of 40 of whom he was a respected member. He died Saturday the 13th at about 11 o'clock a.m.
