The subject of this sketch, Lucinda Fanes Mourer, was born in Hyland County, Ohio, July 26th, 1829, and died at her home in West Lebanon May 1st, 1895, aged 65 years, 9 months and 5 days. She was united in marriage to Nathaniel Mourer December 30th, 1844. To this union was born ten children, eight of whom survive her. The funeral services were held at the family residence May 3d, 1895, conducted by the Rev. McBroom, after which she was laid to rest in the West Lebanon Cemetery. The pallbearers were D. M. Stratton, James Shaughnessey, George Smith, Samuel Frame, Mart Armstrong and Mr. Butler. She was a true and faithful wife, a loving mother and was loved by all who knew her. She leaves a host of friends and relatives to mourn her loss.
