Crawfordsville- Mrs. James Nelson, a pretty young widow, is in the Montgomery County Jail. She has been living with her father, a farmer and when her child disappeared she gave teh impression that it had been kidnapped. The murdered body was found concealed in her bedroom, she having no opportunity to hide it. The woman asserts that she was ill and the child's crying so affected her nerves that she arose and deliberately choked it to death.
