Elsa D. Pixley was born in Bristol, New York in 1814. In 1817 the family moved to New London, Ohio, where in 1835 she was married to William Town. To them were bornfour children, two sons and two daughters. In 1845 the family moved to Franklin County, this state, where they resided one year, when Mr. Town died. Remainig a widow one year, she married to Henry Keeister. To this union was born three children, a son and two daughters. For a number of years the family resided in Old West Lebanon where on Sept. 1, 1897, Mrs Keister died, at the age of 83 years, two months, and 5 days. A young man by the name of Ernest Rockwell, whose home was near Oxford, was run over by a C. & E. I. train last Wednesday. Both legs and his right arm where cut off. he was taken to the hospital at Danville, where he died in a few hours. He had been working near Rossville and started to walk to Hoopeston where he expected to take the train to Oxford. Growing weary he sat down on the track rest and fell asleep.
