Died at his home in Williamsport on Friday, Nov. 26, Samuel Conger, aged 76 years. Died at her home in Pine Village, Friday, Nov. 26, Rebecca Ann Swadley, age 61 years. The funeral occurred Sunday, Nov. 28. A.H. Haun received a telegram 1st Thursday that his mother, residing in Kokomo, was very low and not expected to live. He left on the first train, but was delayed at Logansport, so did not reach there until Friday morning; too late to see his mother alive, as she passed away Thursday evening at 10:30. She was 75 years old. Deceased was born in Morree County, Virginia, August 15, 1822. She came to Boone County, this state, at the age of 15, where the family resided until 1863, when they came to Warren County, residing here until 1867, when they moved to Kirkland, Cliniton County, where she resided about 5 years, thence to Kokomo, Howell County, where she resided most of the time until her death. She was the mother of 10 children, 7 of whom survive her. The funeral occurred at 2 p.m. Saturday morning and were present at the funeral. (*Theresa Haun)
