Mrs. Amanda Wilson aged 94 years, the mother of Mrs. P. W. Schoonover, of this place, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Houser, in Kansas, Last week. Intelligence of the death did not reach Mrs. Schoonover until last Saturday. Deceased had enjoyed excellent health up to within two years of her death, when she recived a fall, breaking an arm and injuring her hip. mrs. Nancy Jane Ross, wife of James Ross of Liberty Township, died at the family residence on Friday, March 17, 1899, of consumption, aged 62 years. The funeral was held Sunday, March 19th, at the residence, Rev. W. N. Coffman of this place offiating. Interment was made in the cemetery at Carbondale. Mrs. Ellen Towne, wife of Mr. John Towne, of Attica, aged 75 years, died from paralisis last Saturday morning. She leaves an aged husband. Remains were interred at Independance, her former home, last Tuesday. Mr. Towne and his wife had been living in Attica olny about three weeks.
